After a short night flying, 7h30 to get from Paris to Delhi, I have to transfer to a domestic flight to get myself to Chennai another 2h30 flight. It's a good time to drop in for an ice coffee in coffee day and start realising where I am... Well India as always is moving forward and on the live news channel in the terminal building the 'breaking news' is the continued blocage of both houses of parliament that started some 8 days back and a nationwide retail strike due to a law that now allows a 51% foreign investment in retail. I slowly change my focus to another TV screen to see that Delhi has been celebrating diversity.... Welcome to 2011 India
Après une courte nuit de 7h30 a voler entre Paris et Delhi me voici arrivé en Inde. J'ai ma connection pour mon vol intérieur de 2h30 vers Chennai dans quelques heures, c'est donc l'occasion de passer chez 'coffee day' pour un bon café frappé. La nouvelle qui passe en boucle sur les écrans de TV est le 8em jour de blocage des 2 chambres du parlement indien et la grève générale des commerces suite à l'adoption d'une loi qui autorise les participations etrangères à hauteur de 51% dans le commerce indien. Sur un autre écran une autre image qui montre la récente célébration de la diversité qui vient d'avoir lieu à Delhi. Bienvenue dans l'Inde de 2011.
